Meet The Maker
Kelly started her business, Melody Gray Handmade, in 2020 and hasn't looked back. Since then she has expanded her craft business to include embroidery, sublimation, vinyl, and recently added laser woodworking to her resume. Her days are now spent in her craft studio working on her orders and testing patterns for several designers. Her passion for her work and her keen eye for detail truly puts her projects over the top.
But her story dates all the way back to her elementary school days.
Her mother encouraged Kelly's talents for crafting with different mediums, and
she would often make small crafts to sell to her classmates.
Later while in Miami, Kelly quickly established herself as a talented, freehand nail artist with an upscale clientele. She kept up with all the latest-and-greatest crafting techniques and was a favorite at local craft shows.
In 2019 her husband's job took the family to Central Florida and with the move, Kelly's nail salon was closed.
That was the catalyst for Kelly to pursue her love of all-things crafting fulltime and start an Etsy shop.
Nowadays, when she's not in her craft room, she can often be found spending time with her family which includes her husband, grown daughter, and her 3 fur babies, and loves exploring theme parks.
